I started CleanRun in Fort Worth in 2013 after ten years watching homeowners get handed vague invoices and zero proof the work happened. I still walk jobs when the duct layout’s unusual or the camera shows something that doesn’t match the estimate. My role now is mostly making sure Haven Standard Clause 1 gets enforced: written price before any panel comes off, every time, no exceptions. I live in the Wedgwood area with two dogs who shed enough to keep our dryer vent crew in business year-round.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been running our negative-pressure extraction rigs for eight years, first on Abatement Technologies portable HEPA systems and now on our Nikro 220-volt truck-mounted units. He’s the one who’ll point out that your return duct run (the channel pulling air back to your HVAC unit) has a sag at the second elbow, because he’s seen that exact failure in Ridglea and Berkeley Place homes built between 1965 and 1978. Off the clock, Marcus restores vintage motorcycles and argues with Tomas about whether Fort Worth or Austin has worse pollen seasons. He holds NADCA certification and trains every new hire on proper register seal technique.
Elena R., Senior Installer & Duct Repair Specialist
Elena handles our duct repair and sealing work, which means she’s crawling attics in July when the composite decking hits 140 degrees and the mastic won’t set without a water mist. She joined us in 2017 after five years in commercial HVAC retrofit, and she’s the reason we can offer full duct replacement in older Fort Worth homes with original galvanized steel runs. Her specialty is hard-to-reach plenum repairs in the Mistletoe Heights and Fairmount historic districts, where access panels were never part of the original design. Elena keeps a running bet with Marcus about who’ll find the strangest object in a duct; she’s currently winning with a 1978 Fort Worth Star-Telegram sports section, perfectly preserved by the lack of airflow.
Darnell J., Service Coordinator
Darnell answers the phones and schedules every job, which means he’s the live voice you get when you call (817) 520-8797 at 10 PM on a Sunday because your dryer vent alarm won’t stop chirping. He’s been with CleanRun since 2019 and knows which crew to send to a Pier and Beam crawlspace versus a slab foundation with attic ducts. Darnell also prepares every written estimate and second-opinion comparison, laying competitor quotes side-by-side with ours so the line items are clear before anyone loads a truck. He grew up in Stop Six, attended O.D. Wyatt High School, and still won’t let Tomas forget the time he scheduled three Haltom City jobs on the same morning without checking traffic on Beach Street.
Keisha B., Apprentice Technician
Keisha started with us in 2022 after completing the Tarrant County College HVAC fundamentals program. She’s currently certified on Rotobrush brush-and-vac systems and Honeywell electronic air cleaner installs, working toward her full NADCA credential under Marcus’s supervision. Her first solo job was a dryer vent cleaning in the Rivercrest area where the vent termination (the exterior hood where lint exits) was completely blocked by a mud dauber nest she’d never seen before. She photographed it, cleared it, and now carries a telescoping inspection mirror she bought herself because the shop one wasn’t long enough. Keisha lives in Arlington and complains about the commute, but she’ll also tell you our Fort Worth customers leave better snacks.
